Woodstock School of Ballet Summer Dance 2018
Registration begins now for summer classes and camps. A yearly registration fee of $35 (per family) must accompany your completed registration form and will signify enrollment in any classes or camps taken between June 2018 and May 2019. Please register before May 1st for summer classes. The summer schedule is below.
Cherokee Ballet Theatre Company Camp
June 4-15 Company Dancers, rising 3rd -12th grade, by audition
Becoming a member of CBT for the 2018-19 season requires an audition, held on May 17, and mandatory attendance at the 2-week Company Camp. Dancers will gain so much from this intensive training, with guest instructors, Mark Krieger (Principal Dancer with Louisville Ballet) and Lonnie Davis (well-known Atlanta-based teacher/choreographer), as well as our own faculty, teaching each day from 10-3:30. LEAP! Into Ballerina Camp
June 18-22 Ages 3-10
We are excited to offer a camp designed to teach our students more about the art of Ballet, ending the week with a mini-production for family and friends. Drawing inspiration from the movie Leap!, dancers will have daily Ballet class, learn choreography, do fun art projects related to our theme, make costume pieces and more! The camp for ages 3 & 4 is 10-12:30 and the cost is $85. For ages 5-10 the times are 10-2:30 and the cost is $160. All dancers should wear pink tights, ballet shoes, and hair in a bun or ponytail. The leotard color for 3 & 4’s is pink and for 5-10, black. Skirts are optional. Please bring a nutritious lunch and water bottle each day!
June 5-26 and July 10-24 Ages 2-Adult
Terrific Tuesdays is a great way for dancers of all ages to enjoy classes during the summer months and continue their dance training. We welcome Susan Moran back for summer Irish class. Elizabeth Fisher will be teaching the Ballet classes and Lizzie Baker will offer her popular Contemporary class for teens, as well as a fun new class for ages 8-12, Dance for Musical Theater. New this summer is Ballet Princess of the Week class, designed to teach, as well as entertain young dancers! Each week a different princess will be featured. Dancers will dress up, learn a dance and do fun craft projects. The cost for the 7 week session is $98, with discounts available for multiple classes per family.

***Adult Fitness classes continue throughout the summer and include daily classes at 9 a.m. with instructors from American Bodyworks, Barre Fitness on Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m. with Lizzie Baker, and Restorative Yoga on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. with Susan McVicar. First class is always free. Unlimited classes are available for just $20 per month!
