Dance Attire: Students
are required to wear specific clothing, which your instructor
will discuss with you. Hair must always be pulled back from
the face and off the neck. The best way to accomplish this
is the classical bun, provided the hair is long enough. Ballet
shoes must have the elastic sewn on properly and are not to
be worn outside. Please put your name on each article of dancewear.
Tuition: Tuition is due on or before the first day of each month. The monthly fee is the same regardless of the number of classes in the month. A $25 late fee will be added for tuition received after the 10th of the month. Students who miss class due to illness or scheduling problems are encouraged to make up class. There is no refund for missed classes. Students may withdraw from class at any time without incurring additional fees. A written notice must be sent at the time of withdrawal. If a student withdraws mid-month, tuition is still due for that month. Students are responsible for tuition and will be billed until written notice is received.

Holidays: We follow the
Cherokee County Schools' schedule for all bad weather cancellations,
and also for both Winter and Spring Break. Any other holidays
will be announced prior to that month. Holidays will be made
up in the course of our year. Weather related cancellations
are not made up.
Recital: There is a recital each spring which will involve all dance students. Each class will perform a dance for this, and students will be required to purchase a costume. The costume fee is $65.00 per class and is due by December 10, 2010. Each family will pay a recital fee of $30 per family which will be due March 11, 2011. This fee pays for theater rental for the week of recital. Each family will receive 3 tickets to the May recital and additional tickets may be purchased.
Attendance: Regular and
punctual attendance is required. Absence hampers the student's
progress and slows down the class as well. In order to insure
supervision, it is important to drop off and pick up your
child not more than ten minutes before and after class. Please
remember this when dropping off your child for class.
Class Visits: Parents are
invited to observe classes two times during the year, However,
if you feel there is a problem within the class which needs
your attention please discuss this with the instructor and
schedule a time when you can watch.
Registration: Registration for the school year, August through May, is taken at the studio prior to the first week of classes. Class enrollment is limited and students are placed according to age and level. A registration fee is required yearly, and is non-refundable. The registration fee is $35.00 for each WSB family member. Payment of this fee will reserve your place in class and signify enrollment.
